Asking a lawyer if you need a lawyer is like asking a barber if you need a haircut.  What do you think I am going to say?  Although people often to a great job shaving their own heads, everybody prefers to have a professional handle it.  The difference being barbers aren’t $300 an hour.

It therefore stands to reason that people try to handle their legal affairs on their own.  When it comes to evictions, it can work, but it can also go badly.

Even attorneys find it difficult to perform flawlessly when filing evictions.  The requirements are technical and the courts unforgiving when it comes to the tiny errors that may occur.  Didn’t name a defendant in your notice?  Too bad.  Didn’t check the right box?  Too bad.  Got the address wrong?  Too bad.  Didn’t break out the rent owed into individual months?  Too bad.

I offer reasonable, flat-rate evictions for your normal run-of-the-mill unlawful detainer.  Although I usually represent landlords, I am willing to represent the right tenant depending on the circumstances.  I also offer coaching.
